all people age 12 and older must provide proof of double vaccination to enter the recreation centre. This includes family members awaiting students participating in class. please give yourself extra time prior to class to observe covid-19 screening. thank you.
Required PPE: Face mask that covers nose, mouth and chin

Prior to start of Class
- Please self-screen for symptoms at home. If you feel unwell or have any symptoms do not come to class. Please stay at home and seek medical advice.
- On arrival, please wait outside the door, keeping 2 meters social distance with masks on. A Sensei must confirm that you do not have symptoms prior to entry to class. Hands must be sanitized on entry.
- Due to limited space required to keep social distance, only students will be allowed in the practice area. All parents/guardians please stay outside while maintaining social distance and following the recreation centre’s guidelines. There will be chairs available in the hallway.
- If placing your bags inside the room, those of the same household please group belongings together. We ask all students to place bags around the room maintaining space so you may retrieve items while maintaining distance. When distance cannot be maintained please wait and retrieve belongings in turns.
- Masks may be removed during active practice. Those who wish to keep masks on may do so however, please take breaks if breathing becomes difficult and ensure you do not feel faint during the activity.
- During slower activities such as Pad Work where distance may not be maintained, students will sanitize their hands and put on their masks. As such, please keep your mask with you at all times.
- Students should sanitize their hands prior to handling any food or drinks, and every time they return to the room. (Bathrooms are out in the hallway) Students may use their own sanitizer or that provided.
After Class:
- Please sanitize hands immediately after practice to keep friends and family safe.
- Please inform Azuma Dojo Canada at once if you suspect that you have covid or test positive for covid so that we may inform other members to self monitor for symptoms.
